Are your cakes fresh to order?

• We pride ourselves for delicious recipes at the highest quality, so our cakes are always fresh to order.
  

Are there any common allergens in your cakes?

• None of our cakes contain any type of nuts, but our kitchen is not a nut-free environment. Please order accordingly. If you have additional questions about the potential risk of allergens, please reach out to your healthcare provider.

How should I store my order from Jay Byrd Cakes?

• To maintain optimal freshness, we recommend storing our cakes in the freezer immediately upon arrival. If you are planning to enjoy your order within 24 hours, keep your cake in its plastic wrap in a sealed plastic container or Ziploc bag. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. Refrigerated cakes have a tendency to dry out and absorb the oder of other foods in your refrigerator. 

What is the shelf life of my order?

• When wrapped in plastic and sealed in a container or Ziploc bag, our cakes will last up to 6 months in the freezer. Once they are ready to be enjoyed, remove them to thaw and enjoy within 24 hours, kept at room temperature. You can also refreeze them!

Do you ship nationwide and/or internationally?

• We ship via UPS anywhere in the United States. However, UPS does not ship to PO Boxes and we do not ship internationally at this time.

Do you offer local delivery in Charlotte, North Carolina?

What are the shipping costs associated with purchasing from Jay Byrd Cakes?

• Shipping costs are calculated based on the size and weight of your order and will vary depending upon the type of product and quantity ordered. 

How are your products shipped?

• We ship all orders frozen in individual boxes placed within a shipping container carefully protected with padding and gel packs to keep your order cool in transit.

What days of the week do you ship?

• To ensure your cake is baked to perfection and shipped with care, we ship all orders the first and third weeks of each month, on Monday and Tuesday.

When will my order arrive?

• Please note: we ship all orders on the first and third weeks of every month via UPS for 2-day delivery. Transit time for ground shipping is estimated by UPS, but not guaranteed, so it's best to reference your tracking information for the most accurate delivery date. 

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

• Customer service is of the utmost importance to us at Jay Byrd Cakes. While we do our best to ensure all orders arrive safely, we can't forecast for bumps and hiccups that may occur while your order is in transit. Please email us at jaybyrdcakes@gmail.com to report any damaged items with a photo of the order within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you to determine the appropriate solution!
